ABOUT MEWriter and DesignerEver since the second grade I knew I wanted to be an author, and I was lucky enough to be able to graduate at a specialty high school--Woodbridge Senior High School for the Fine and Performing Arts--with a concentration in Creative Writing. It was because of this program that I have been published in some magazines, and have found a love of using InDesign to create magazines. I continued exploring my love of writing, and magazine design in my college career. Now, graduated, I have continued doing what I enjoy most by volunteering with the Boy Scouts in the St. Louis Cahokia Mounds District as I create their newsletters and other projects.
I grew up an Army Brat and am proud of that. It has definitely shaped who I am and has influenced a lot of my writing. A fun fact about my childhood, when I was ten years old I had already lived in eleven different houses. |
